There are no Facts,Only Interpretations

This thought needs no introduction as it was coined by a great german philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.First time I saw it as the status message put by my friend in gtalk. No thought intrigued me so much as it did as it made me hovering around the concepts of philosophy and metaphysics which i always hated. The reason for considering it so seriously is because of the person himself who has propogated it.His strong influence was laid on none other than Adolf Hitler without whom the world history would have remained a mere drama and I strongly felt He can't just say something without the substantial rationale behind it.

First of all,Let's delve into the term "Fact".
Fact - A piece of information presented as having objective reality (source:webster)

What is objective reality?
This term was first coined by Gottlob Frege who was a german mathematician and a philosopher.According to him, Anything which is "mind-independent" or not met by the judgement of conscious entity or effort is said to be objectively real.(source:wikipedia)

Any object in the world is first perceived by our senses and all our senses owing to that respective object are collectively channeled to our mind and finally judged by it about its identity which is real and not factual as it contradicts the basis of the term called fact or objective reality i.e "mind-independent" and can also be called as an interpretation.

Precisely what our mind perceives is an interpretation .Hence an interpretation can simply be termed as an algorithm running in the mind in the perception of objects.Let's say there is paper in front of you on your table.you may instantaneously confirm the identity of the object to be a paper. But it's not instantaneous there would be a lag of some thousandth part of millisecond between your seeing it and your recognizing it as a paper. This time is spent on you seeing the object and then your sense of the sight getting channeled to the mind and finally deciding on the identity of the object that it's a paper which is nothing but your interpretation.

While researching and analyzing this single thought i have learned another interesting point. The WHY question Newton posed to himself about the falling apple made him a propose a theory on it,But if he questioned himself WHY NOT instead he would have proposed a philosophy on it :)

PS:-The regret of not developing such thought process in my early ages has been washed away by the much cliched and old adage "Better to be late than never" which i feel is definitely real and not a fact :)
